A Geography Lesson.
When I was at high school in rural NSW in the 1970s, Geography was a core subject. I really only remember learning* about the sequential occupation of the Canterbury and Otago plains in NZ, and the Koppen system of climate classification. And I still find the latter very interesting (though I’m not so sure about anybody else). (Christchurch has an Oceanic climate).
*And a few other bits and pieces. I won’t pretend I wasn’t a girly swot.
